Critical interfaces
By interfaces, NRC means processes and projects that are interlinked with other departments/units or persons. Relevant interfaces for this position are:
Strategy and Programme Development: Project Coordinator, Area Manager, Country Director, Head of Programmes
Implementation: Emergency Response Team, other core competency teams, local authorities, community leaders and beneficiaries, peer organizations
Support Services: Support Services teams (Logistics, finance, HR, Admin).
Monitoring: Emergency Response team, M&E team
Staff Capacity Building: Emergency Response Team

Competencies

Professional competencies

Generic professional competencies:
Experience from working as an Assistant in a humanitarian/recovery context;
Knowledge and experience within a relevant administration, craft or technical field and ideally a relevant vocational qualification
Previous experience from working in complex and volatile contexts;
Previous experience with beneficiary registration process by using kobo collect;
Documented results related to the position’s responsibilities;
Fluency in Portuguese;
Basic knowledge in English;
Have concluded secondary school;
Context/ Specific skills, knowledge and experience:
Fluency in a relevant local language for Cabo Delgado (Makonde, Emakhuwa and kimuane)
