Corporate Services and Facilities (CSF) is a key IMF support department, providing over a hundred services globally at headquarters, in field offices, on missions, at home or on the go. We are a dedicated multicultural team supporting economic policies for 191 member countries. Our six divisions (General Services, Creative Solutions, Language Services, Security Services, Information Resilience and Services, and Facilities Management) deliver diverse services such as procurement, broadcast production, hybrid conferencing, creative events, information management and more. Our integrated products and technologies strengthen the IMF's global impact by facilitating collaboration and creating exceptional multilingual experiences and communications. We leverage vendor relationships to introduce industry best practices for cost-effective service delivery.
We are inviting applications from qualified and experienced professionals interested in a career in one of the following areas:
Strategy, Resource, and Risk Management: Develop and align the department's long-term vision and objectives. Oversee a $100M annual budget and provide budgetary guidance. Foster a culture of risk management and control departmental activities.
Client Relationships and Service Management: Develop data-driven strategies to enhance service delivery. Improve overall user experience and raise client awareness. Monitor developments inside and outside the IMF for strategic planning.
Environmental Sustainability: Develop and implement corporate environmental sustainability strategies. Address greenhouse gas emissions, energy use, and resource conservation. Research and stay updated on environmental sustainability trends.
Procurement: Manage sourcing and contract management for operationally critical goods and services. Develop sourcing strategies, conduct high-value procurements, and reduce total cost of ownership.
Third-Party Risk Management: Assess, evaluate, and mitigate procurement risks. Review risks including operational, legal, reputational, financial, and technology. Ensure appropriate controls are in place during vendor interactions.
Creative Production & Innovation: Deliver creative and technical solutions that amplify the IMF’s mission. Produce visual assets and direct video, graphics, photography, and events. Oversee broadcast production, AV engineering, and conference systems, ensuring operational excellence and technical innovation. Drive the Creative Lab at the intersection of business, technology, and communications, using behavioral science, data insights, and human-centered design to build digital products and services that address global challenges.
Space Management: Manage interior design architecture standards, design, space planning, and programming. Collect and analyze space usage data, inform strategies, and optimize space utilization.
Construction Management: Act as the owner’s representative in overseeing facilities upgrades and construction. Adhere to project management best practices, including budget and schedule management.
Security: Provide security management support globally. Work with UN and other IFI counterparts on political and security risk analysis. Deliver security training and manage physical security principles related to premises and facilities.
Language Services (Freelance, English ⇄ Japanese): Translators with economic and financial expertise to translate IMF documents and support missions in the region. Editors with English and Japanese ability who can perform Desktop Publishing (DTP) in InDesign. Reviewers for technical content, preferably with backgrounds as economists or financial specialists, and proficiency in both English and Japanese.
Corporate Travel: Strategically plan, implement, and oversee all aspects of global corporate travel for employees, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and compliance with company policies. Leverage expertise in travel agency operations to seamlessly integrate travel platforms with ERP systems, enhancing service delivery. Maintain clear and effective communication with stakeholders to drive continuous improvement and ensure a smooth travel experience for all employees.
We are seeking experienced professionals who have:
An advanced university degree plus a minimum of four years of relevant professional experience or a bachelor's degree plus a minimum of 10 years of relevant professional experience. Demonstrable experience or expertise in one or more of the fields mentioned above.
Strong interpersonal skills, excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as planning and organizational skills.
Relevant professional experience in a similar capacity in a comparable international organization is desirable.
A track record of working well in a collegial team environment, and strong ability to work collaboratively with colleagues at all levels and of different cultural backgrounds and with other international organizations and stakeholders.

We will conduct Regional Recruitment Outreach Missions to South Korea and Japan from November 10th through 19th, 2025 aimed at engaging with experienced professionals from across the region.
