Introduction : Country: Ukraine Project Name: Human Rights for Ukraine (phase II) Description of the Assignment: Expert on non-discrimination and inclusion Duty Station: Home-based Period of assignment/services (if applicable): May - December 2024 !PLEASE NOTE: the currency of the proposal is UAH. Furthermore, UNDP will enter into a contract with the selected national consultant in UAH. Main objectives of the assignment: expert support to the National Agency for Civil Service of Ukraine (NACS) in strengthening the capacity of the institution to raise awareness and implementation of the best practices that facilitate the access of persons with disabilities and other groups of the population with reduced mobility to legal protection in cases related to discrimination. Scope of work: It is expected that in terms of implementation of this assignment, the Expert (Individual Contractor) will carry out the following activities: Advertisement conducting an analysis on the inclusiveness of the system of professional training of civil servants; development of Methodological recommendations for ensuring the inclusiveness of the professional training system; development of a short-term course for civil servants of category “A” on the implementation of state policy on creating a barrier-free space on the basis of equality, non-discrimination and accessibility; development of the educational and methodological manuals for trainers for a typical course for civil servants as specified in ToR Section 3 for Deliverables; facilitation of expert work and development of a script for an online course for civil servants on the implementation of state policy on creating a barrier-free space based on equality, non-discrimination and accessibility. All final products should be produced according to the plan outlined under each deliverable as specified in the Terms of reference.
