Job Description
We are seeking a Biorepository for a 2-year-regular position (renewable) to work within the Biosafety department at the International Vaccine Institute in Seoul, Korea. (Duty station : Seoul, Korea)

Job Description

The incumbent of this position is responsible for the establishment and operation of the facility of Biorepository center that observes domestic and international legislation and guideline.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

1. Support for the establishment of Biorepository center facility.
  • Support the construction and installation of center facility based on domestic and international legislation and guidelines
  • Communication with regulation authorities
  • Establishment and development of audit report according to the demands
  • Communication and conferences with division within the institution Provide consultation and advise to potential industry partners.
2. Maintenance and repair of facilities and equipment and establishment of programs
  • Support for the supply of equipment and consumable supplies, various service
  • Supervision and verification of maintenance and management for equipment

3. Maintenance and repair of facilities and equipment and establishment of programs
  • Documentation of policies, procedures, and reports
  • Organization about facility operation and use, education of facility users
  • Establishment of management program of preserved pathogen
  • Adjustment and management of facility entrance for the facility
  • Revision of risk factors and immediate report about accidents

Job Requirements and Qualifications

1. Education Requirements
  • University post-graduate
  • Major in biology or Engineering related

2. Related Field Work Experience
  • minimum 3 years

3. Technical and Professional Skills / Knowledge
  • Technical background in microbiology, biochemistry, and basic physical and biological sciences.
  • Knowledge of engineering principles relevant to the design, operation, and maintenance of facilities preferred .

4. Language Proficiency
  • Proficient in English communication, both verbal and written
