À propos de SADC

The Southern African Development Community (SADC) is a regional economic community of 16 member states in southern Africa. It works on regional integration, economic growth, poverty reduction, and peace and security. It was established by the SADC Treaty signed in Windhoek in August 1992 and succeeded the Southern African Development Coordination Conference (SADCC), formed in 1980. The SADC Secretariat, its principal executive institution, is based in Gaborone, Botswana.

Vacancies are published on the vacancies pages of sadc.int. Regional positions are open to citizens of eligible member states, and applications are usually submitted through each country’s SADC National Contact Point. Regional posts are fixed-term contracts of four years, renewable twice. Vacancy notices set age limits. The Secretariat also advertises short-term positions and consultancies.
