Grade C2 at EUMETSAT in Germany pays EUR 3,666 to EUR 4,766 a month, basic.
The figures on this page are quoted basic, per month, in EUR.
These figures come from the EUMETSAT scale for effective 1 January 2025, as published by EUMETSAT. We last read that source and confirmed these figures on 20 August 2026.
EUMETSAT joined the Co-ordinated Organisations on 1 July 2012, later than the other five. Its scale is published inside Annex I of the Staff Rules rather than as a candidate-facing table, which is why these figures are basic salary and not directly comparable with the net figures ESA and the Council of Europe publish.
EUMETSAT is one of the six Co-ordinated Organisations, which adjust pay by a shared method rather than a shared scale — so grade C2 here has no counterpart at another of the six. How Co-ordinated Organisation pay works.
This is not a UN common-system salary. EUMETSAT sets its own pay, so there is no post adjustment and no ICSC scale behind this grade — it cannot be compared with a P-4 or a GS-6 without accounting for the difference in basis.
