VA26P135V01 - Project Officer - LP2

Within the Western Balkans Region, the Project Officer is responsible for supporting the implementation of a project aimed at strengthening return management systems in line with EU standards.

Working under the overall supervision of the Regional Project Manager, the Project Officer supports the implementation and coordination of activities throughout the project cycle. The role contributes to the strategic and operational alignment of project activities with donor requirements, ICMPD standards, and the priorities of beneficiary institutions and participating countries.

Based in Belgarde, Serbia, the Project Officer works closely with national authorities, project partners, service providers, and internal ICMPD colleagues to support effective coordination, timely implementation, and coherent delivery of project activities. The Project Officer may also contribute to related migration initiatives implemented by the region, as required.

Fluency in English and Bosnian/Croatian/Serbian (verbal and written) is required. Knowledge of any Western Balkans local language will be considered an asset.​
