About the Role

This internship provides the opportunity to support DG2 team in their daily activities. You will assist in preparation of monitoring materials, gathering market intelligence, and maintaining organized records, while also contributing to additional tasks as needed. The role offers practical exposure to the operational environment of a development bank. Through close interaction with banking staff, you will develop a deeper understanding of how financial institutions monitor clients, assess risks, and manage information flows.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist bankers in preparing supervision and monitoring reports, including helping clear outstanding information requirements.
  • Collect market intelligence data for targeted companies and specific sectors.
  • Contribute to the archiving and organization of records in line with internal procedures.
  • Provide support for additional tasks as assigned, depending on departmental needs and priorities.

Applicants should:

  • Preferably be students in the 2nd–4th year of an undergraduate program leading to a bachelor’s degree or enrolled in a graduate program leading to a master’s or doctoral degree, of a university or equivalent, in fields such as business administration, development finance, banking, finance, or economics.
  • Demonstrate an excellent command of spoken and written English, with strong communication, multitasking, and teamwork abilities.
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
