Context

The new youth movement is being established to mobilize young people around values of solidarity, civic engagement, leadership, community development, and positive social transformation. A strong visual identity, starting with a compelling logo, is essential to communicate the movement’s vision, attract members and partners, and increase its visibility at local, national, and international levels. The contribution of Online Volunteers will play a key role in shaping the public identity of the movement and strengthening its ability to engage young people and stakeholders. This initiative contributes to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4 (Quality Education), SDG 10 (Reduced Inequalities), SDG 16 (Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions), and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals).

Task Description

We are seeking 10 Online Volunteers with expertise in graphic design and visual identity to support the creation of a new logo for an upcoming youth movement that aims to inspire young people and promote positive social impact. Under the supervision of the designated focal point and in close collaboration with the movement’s founding team, the Online Volunteers will contribute to the development of creative and meaningful logo concepts that reflect the vision, values, mission, and identity of the movement. Specifically, each Online Volunteer will be expected to: - Review background information about the youth movement, including its mission, objectives, target audience, and core values; - Conduct research on relevant visual trends, symbols, and design approaches suitable for youth engagement and social initiatives; - Develop original logo concepts and present initial drafts for discussion and feedback; - Revise and refine their proposals based on comments provided by the focal point and the project team; - Deliver a final logo design in appropriate formats, including high-resolution and editable files. All logo proposals should be original, innovative, and aligned with the identity and vision of the new youth movement. Detailed guidance and background information will be shared with selected Online Volunteers before the start of the assignment.
