Job Overview:
In an effort to support newly arrived refugees and immigrants in starting their lives successfully in the U.S., the Adult Education Program provides free ESL classes to adult clients. Classes offered focus on English for everyday life as well as job readiness skills through ESL. The teacher will be responsible for teaching three ESL classes.

Compensation: (Pay Rate: $26.50-$27.50/hr). Ranges are based on various factors including the labor market, job type, internal equity, and budget. Exact offers are calibrated by work location, individual candidate experience and skills relative to the defined job requirements.
Working Environment***:*** All applicants must be based in or be willing to work from our New York City office. The IRC NYC RAI office is currently working in a hybrid environment (3 days in office and 2 remote). Classes take place online via Zoom and in-person at the IRC office or at partner locations in New York City.
