Support UNICEF Algeria in the final quality assurance review of the 2025 Annual Report prior to publication. The objective is NOT to rewrite or redesign the document, but to conduct a meticulous editorial and consistency review to ensure publication qualityTask Description
The Online Volunteer will review the English report and support the team in identifying and correcting: 1. Grammar, spelling and punctuation issues 2. Typographical and formatting inconsistencies 3. Sentence clarity and readability issues 4. Repetitions and broken/copied text 5. Inconsistencies in terminology and capitalization 6. Incorrect or inconsistent acronyms 7. Layout-related text issues (broken words, duplicated sentences, line breaks) 8. Inconsistencies in UNICEF terminology and style SPECIFIC ATTENTION REQUIRED The review should pay particular attention to: - consistency of programme/program usage - consistency of UNICEF terminology - titles and table of contents - numerical formatting - page references - captions and highlighted pull quotes - readability of highlighted text blocks - consistency of partner names and institutional references EXPECTED DELIVERABLES 1. A tracked-changes version of the report in Word/PDF 2. A short summary note highlighting: - critical corrections - remaining issues requiring designer intervention - any factual inconsistencies identifiedCompetencies and values
