Project Description:
Meeting Targets and Maintaining Epidemic Control (EpiC) is a global health project funded by the U.S. President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) and the U.S. Department of State (USG), with a period of performance from April 15, 2019 to December 30, 2027. EpiC provides strategic technical assistance and direct delivery of life-saving services to achieve HIV epidemic control among all at-risk populations; strengthen global health security (GHS), including outbreak response; expand tuberculosis (TB) detection and treatment , improve maternal and child health (MCH), address malaria; and promote health systems strengthening (HSS) including supply chain management. EpiC is led by FHI 360 with core partners Population Services International (PSI), Palladium Group, and Right to Care and implemented by over 250 regional, resource, and local partners.
Position Summary:
The Security Coordinator, reporting to the Associate Director, Finance and Operations, will lead the implementation of FHI 360’s safety and security policies in Bangladesh while supporting core administrative and operational functions. The role is responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive security strategy to ensure the safety of personnel, support in organizing team workshops, events, assets management, and others project activities.
In addition, the coordinator will oversee travel logistics, procurement support, office services, and event coordination to ensure smooth day-to-day operations. This includes managing travel arrangements (including visa support and hotel bookings), conducting security risk assessments for all movements, coordinating vendors and service providers, and ensuring compliance with organizational policies and donor requirements.
The position will provide guidance to senior management of all projects of FHI360 BD on security matters, maintain effective coordination across departments, and support staff and partners through training and implementation of safety and operational protocols.

The expected hiring salary range for this role is BDT 1,500,000 to 2,000,000 annually for gross salary. When determining an offer amount, FHI 360 factors in multiple considerations, including but not limited to: relevant years of experience and education possessed by the applicant, internal equity, market pay, and budget.
