We are seeking a results driven Resource Planning & Administration (RPA) Senior Analyst to support OVE’s corporate functions, including budget planning, execution and monitoring, as well as complementary workforce planning and recruitment.
The role also provides cross-functional corporate support to OVE’s evaluation teams ensuring alignment with the OVE’s work program and institutional processes. Additionally, the selected candidate will support data-driven initiatives to enhance decision-making through analytics, dashboards, strategic reporting, and other administrative workflows.
You will work for the Office of Evaluation and Oversight (OVE). OVE is responsible for independently evaluating all aspects of the IDB Group’s work. OVE reports directly to the IDB Group’s Boards of Directors with the objective of improving management’s accountability and learning. It delivers corporate, country, and thematic evaluations, validates project-level self-evaluations, and tracks implementation of recommendations. In addition to evaluating the IDB Group’s work, OVE supports capacity building for the staff of public institutions in Latin America and the Caribbean. OVE is also a member of the Evaluation Cooperation Group (ECG), a standard-setting network of the independent evaluation offices of multilateral development banks (MDBs).
You will report to the RPA Senior Specialist and will work closely with other members of the Management and the Knowledge teams.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in business or related field relevant to the responsibilities of the role.
Experience: A minimum of one (1) year of professional experience in resource planning and administration with demonstrated experience in budget management and human resources functions.
Language: Proficiency in English and Spanish, spoken and written, is required. Additional knowledge of French and Portuguese is preferable.

International staff contract, 36 months initially, renewable upon mutual agreement.
