Under the overall supervision of the Chief of Mission and the National Senior Finance Officer, and the direct supervision of the Senior Budget and Reporting Associate and in close coordination with the Budget and Compliance Officer and Chief, RMU, the Budget and Reporting Associate will be responsible and accountable for providing the necessary assistance and support in budgeting, financial project monitoring and reporting processes in accordance with Donors’ requirements and IOM Financial Regulation and Policies.
Assist with monitoring of finance activities of the IOM Mission in Ukraine.
Support the preparation and revision of IOM budget plans, and check compliance with IOM standards, budget and programming policies and procedures.
Provide support to the field offices and project staff throughout the project cycle in line with IOM's administrative and financial policies and procedures.
Record transactions in Wave program, verifying that accounting data are properly entered, in accordance with IOM Financial rules and practices and all supporting documents are enclosed.
Assist in preparing donor financial reports in accordance with IOM regulations and procedures and donor’s requirements.
Provide support for internal and external project audits.
