Job Description

There’s something special about spending your days alongside like-minded people, just as committed to purposeful work as you. At Save the Children Australia, we attract bright and big-hearted people who are inspired to make a difference. Together, we are fearless in our pursuit of making lasting change for the children and communities who need it most.

A place to make a difference:

In this full-time, permanent role, you’ll work as a part of our International Programs-Global team to help us create lasting change for children everywhere. The Data & Systems Coordinator plays an important role in delivering on our vision of a better world for children. Whether it’s transforming portfolio data into dashboards, and insights that inform risks, managing audit-ready evidence as a single source of truth, or ensuring systems support high-quality, compliant delivery, you’ll be contributing to our commitment to children in Australia, the Pacific and around the world.

Based in any capital city of Australia, you’ll have flexibility to work from home or from one of our state offices.

You will make a difference by:

· Strengthening data governance, systems use and evidence discipline across program teams and Country Offices.

· Delivering portfolio insights through dashboards, KPIs and analysis to surface risk and reduce rework

· Supporting donor compliance and audit readiness through disciplined systems and evidence management

· Maintaining an audit ready, single source of truth for portfolio evidence and documentation

· Supporting program teams and partners to build capability in data discipline, systems use and evidence management.

· Ensuring accurate, complete and timely award data in the Award Management System (AMS)

A place to feel valued:

Your deep expertise in award and project management, data quality and systems-based ways of working to bring order, clarity and discipline to complex portfolios is invaluable.

This role requires:

· Demonstrated experience in award, grant, or project management within a social impact or similar environment

· Strong data analysis skills, including experience with dashboards, data visualisation tools, and performance reporting

· Familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, or similar data visualisation tools, and performance reporting

· Demonstrated AI proficiency: prompting, workflow automation, data protection, and audit-trail competence

· Proven ability to identify and manage operational and compliance risks

A place to belong:

We are diverse personalities, backgrounds and talents, embracing our differences as one strong and united team. We see and celebrate the unique value you bring to our organisation, and offer a range of rewards for your effort, including:

· Opportunity to work on additional projects to enable you to stretch and feel connected to programs in a different way

· Individual learning plans to help map and deliver on your career development.

· Internal employment and development opportunities

· A modern, up to date working space. Or the opportunity to work from home (WFH), or both!

· Support for workplace wellness, including access to our free, confidential Employee Wellbeing Program

· Extra leave to use in a range of ways to ensure you’re able to perform at your optimum
