The Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI) is a treaty-based international, inter-governmental organization dedicated to supporting and promoting strong, inclusive and sustainable economic growth in developing countries and emerging economies. To learn more please visit about GGGI web page.
The Strategy Unit is GGGI's central aggregation and validation point for Corporate Results Framework (CRF) reporting. As the CRF expands in scope and complexity with the 2026–2030 redesign, the current manual workflow is creating an unsustainable burden. CRF submissions currently require significant manual coordination, narrative rewriting, and validation preparation before they are usable. Low-quality or incomplete inputs from reporting units generate repeated back-and-forth, delay validation, and prevent the Strategy Unit from focusing on aggregation and quality assurance.
Without intervention, manual workload and rework will compound as reporting requirements grow, while inconsistent submissions continue to reduce output quality for donors, internal dashboards, and related GGGI reporting.
This assignment introduces a lightweight AI-enabled reporting system, using Microsoft Copilot and prompt-based workflows, to improve submission quality before it reaches the Strategy Unit. The solution focuses on reducing rework, standardizing narratives, and strengthening completeness evidence, enabling the Strategy Unit to shift from processing everything to managing exceptions.
The consultant is responsible for designing and delivering tools that are ready for GGGI to pilot independently. Live piloting and post-pilot iteration are GGGI responsibilities and fall outside this contract.
Objectives of the assignment
The objective of this assignment is to design and deliver a practical AI-enabled CRF reporting workflow, grounded in a rigorous assessment of current-state pain points and built around a functioning Microsoft Copilot agent, that GGGI staff can operate and maintain independently upon handover.
Specific objectives:
The consultant is responsible for delivering tools that are functional, documented, and ready to pilot. The consultant will conduct internal quality testing against a minimum of 5 historical submissions to validate tool readiness before handover. In addition, the consultant will provide guidance on formal piloting, impact measurement, and iteration based on live results.
