The Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI) is a treaty-based intergovernmental organization dedicated to promoting inclusive and sustainable economic growth. Headquartered in Seoul, GGGI works with 55 Member and Partner countries to support transitions toward environmentally sustainable, economically efficient, and socially inclusive development pathways.
The Center for Thought Leadership (CTL) serves as GGGI’s strategic think tank, leading applied research, climate policy analysis, and evidence-based impact assessment, alongside global knowledge-sharing initiatives. As CTL expands its program portfolio, it seeks an intern to support climate policy analysis, report writing, and the design and delivery of knowledge-sharing activities. The role contributes to improving the quality and usability of climate policy data, informing national decision-making, and strengthening cross-country learning.
CTL contributes to international efforts to harmonize and systematize climate policy information across countries. Using established methodological frameworks, the team expands geographic coverage, particularly in developing countries, while improving consistency, comparability, and transparency of policy datasets.
The intern will support structured data work (collection, coding, validation), analytical outputs, and the preparation of written products derived from climate policy research. In parallel, the role includes operational and logistical support for knowledge-sharing activities such as workshops and webinars, including participant coordination, survey implementation, and synthesis of outputs for dissemination. The intern will work under close supervision within a team engaged in comparative climate policy analysis.
Provide logistical and operational support for knowledge-sharing activities (e.g., workshops, webinars), including participant outreach and tracking, preparation and administration of entry and ex-post surveys, data capture and cleaning, and consolidation of event outputs and feedback
Motivated self-starter, with demonstrated ability to work effectively and sensitively in teams, and excellent cross-cultural communication skills.
