We are looking for an analytical, collaborative, and strategic Social Protection and Labor Markets Consultant. In this role, you will carry out a set of operational and analytical activities related to social protection, labor markets, and early childhood development in Haiti.
You will work with the Social Protection and Labor Markets (SPL) team, part of the Social Sector (SCL). This team is responsible for the preparation and supervision of IDB operations in borrowing member countries in areas of social protection (safety nets, transfers, and services for social inclusion including child development, youth programs, care services for dependents, among others) and labor markets. The Social Sector is a multidisciplinary team convinced that investing in people is the best way to improve lives and overcome development challenges in Latin America and the Caribbean. Together with countries in the region, the Social Sector formulates public policy solutions to reduce poverty and improve the provision of education, employment, social protection, and health services. The goal is to move toward a more productive region, with equal opportunities for men and women, and greater inclusion of the most vulnerable groups.
