Job Description

Job Summary:

The Monitoring and Evaluation Officer will lead monitoring, data collection, analysis, and reporting for the GBV training program, ensuring evidence-based implementation and compliance with ABT and DFAT reporting requirements.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

Monitoring & Data Management

  • Develop and implement the project M&E plan, tools, and indicators aligned with the subcontract.
  • Collect, verify, and manage quantitative and qualitative data from training activities.
  • Ensure data quality, confidentiality, and ethical handling of sensitive GBV-related information.

Reporting & Learning

  • Produce regular M&E reports, dashboards, and summaries for internal and donor use.
  • Support outcome tracking, pre/post training assessments, and learning reviews.
  • Document lessons learned, success stories, and recommendations for program improvement.

Capacity Support

  • Support training officers and partners on basic data collection and reporting tools.
  • Ensure consistent use of monitoring tools across all provinces.

Compliance

  • Ensure alignment with DFAT, ABT, and FHI360 M&E standards.
  • Support audits, evaluations, and performance assessments as required.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in monitoring & evaluation, statistics, public health, development studies, or related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in M&E for donor-funded programs.
  • Experience working on GBV, health, or social protection programs is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical, reporting, and data management skills.
  • Familiarity with ethical considerations in GBV data collection

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Typical office environment; ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed (10-25%).
  • Occasional work outside regular office hours may be required for urgent project needs.

TECHNOLOGY TO BE USED

Microsoft Office Suita, project management software, and other standard office equipment.
