Job Background/Overview:
The International Rescue Committee (IRC) seeks an Officer, Program Visits and Events to design, organize, and execute in‑person and virtual program visits for private donors and prospects within IRC’s high‑value institutional fundraising portfolios. This role will showcase the impact of donor support and contribute to fundraising objectives.
The Officer will collaborate closely with IRC country programs across Europe, Africa, the Middle East, Latin America, and Asia, as well as with domestic programs in cities across the United States. Reporting to the Associate Director of Strategic Marketing, the Officer will work with colleagues across the Philanthropy and Marketing and Mobilization teams to conceptualize and deliver engagement activities that support ambitious fundraising goals and elevate IRC’s profile.
The ideal candidate has experience planning events or group visits, managing projects, and developing marketing materials. Experience working with global teams, managing cross‑departmental initiatives, speaking additional languages, international travel, and donor-facing engagement are preferred.

Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent 5 years of event planning experience with the shown ability to organize events through all phases of development.

Compensation: (Pay Range: $80,000 - $90,000) Posted pay ranges apply to US-based candidates. Ranges are based on various factors including the labor market, job type, internal equity, and budget. Exact offers are calibrated by work location, individual candidate experience and skills relative to the defined job requirements.
