We currently have an exciting opportunity for a new role as a Project Financial Analyst to join our dynamic and growing team. In this role, you will perform on-going financial analysis including profitability analysis, forecasting, data visualization, project finance, and accounting. You should demonstrate a positive, high-energy approach to work and a willingness to learn quickly from senior leadership. Location Manchester office based, or Hybrid working What You'll DoIn this diverse role, you will perform a variety of duties, including but not limited to:Monitor project finances, ensuring adherence to financial objectives and timelines.Review and analyse financial aspects of project proposals, ensuring feasibility and profitability.Conduct variance analyses for each project, identifying key drivers and areas for improvement.Develop, monitor, and analyse project budgets in alignment with organisational goals.Work closely with project managers to create accurate and realistic financial forecasts.Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of revenue recognition reporting.Establish and maintain robust internal controls for project-related financial activities.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements.Generate comprehensive financial reports for project stakeholders, highlighting key performance indicators.Ensure the prompt and accurate invoicing of projects to clients for timely payments. What You'll NeedBachelor’s level degree in finance, accounting, or related area of study1 year of directly related experience.A willingness to learn and help in all areas of the finance and accounting teamAnalytical skills and an ability to convey financial information clearly and accurately across the organisationExcellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills including the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationshipsAbility to effectively prioritise workload and complete tasks to best meet organisation’s needsAttention to detail and accuracy within context of Institute policiesAbility to be resourceful in analysing situations and applying principles and procedures to assist in the development of solutions to difficult problemsExcellent knowledge of MS Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, ExcelExperience with data visualisation tools is a plus

Qualification
