Description
• Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of AI engineers and data scientists, ensuring delivery of high-quality AI solutions. • Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, solution architects, and cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into enterprise systems and workflows. • Documentation & Reporting: Produce architectural blueprints, technical documentation, and progress reports for internal and external stakeholders. • Thought Leadership & Advocacy: Act as a thought leader on AI applications by publishing best practices, contributing to internal and external forums, and influencing the organization’s AI strategy.
Selection Criteria
• Track record of integrating enterprise systems (knowledge repositories, workflow tools) with AI agents and applications to support sectoral operations. • Expertise in designing and implementing data pipelines for structured and unstructured data ingestion, enabling seamless integration, processing, and utilization of diverse content sources to build scalable, AI-driven applications • Generative AI & NLP: Expert-level knowledge of LLMs, generative models, and NLP (e.g., Hugging Face, spaCy, NLTK). • Data Engineering: Skilled in building pipelines with Databricks, Azure Data Factory, or similar. • AI Infrastructure: Cloud deployment expertise (Azure, AWS, GCP); scaling and monitoring AI services. • Experimentation & Evaluation – Test and evaluate new LLMs, emerging AI technologies, and frameworks to identify opportunities for innovation. • Responsible for observability AI Workloads: Prompt/response stores, evaluation harnesses, and observability products (e.g. LangSmith, Kibana) to monitor hallucinations, guardrail triggers, and RAG quality. • AI Ethics & Fairness: Familiarity with bias detection, explainability, and fairness frameworks. Implement guardrails and policy enforcement (content filters, safety classifiers, red teaming, jailbreak prevention) • Demonstrated expertise in AI interpretability and explainability. • Collaborate Within Teams and Across Boundaries – Actively engages across teams, navigates diverse perspectives, resolves conflicts constructively. • Create, Apply, and Share Knowledge – Embeds knowledge-sharing practices, leverages expertise across the WBG, mentors peers. • Client Understanding & Advising – Advocates for client perspectives, ensures solutions are aligned with business value. • Broad Business Thinking – Connects technical architecture with strategic business goals, anticipates long-term implications of design choices. • Deliver architecture blueprints, technical documentation, and deployment pipelines. • Mentor staff and strengthen internal AI engineering capability.
