MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES/RESPONSIBILITIES :

M&E & Knowledge Management :

· Support implementation of a robust Monitoring and Evaluation system, using clear indicators aligned with the Theory of Change and Results Framework, covering outputs, outcomes, and impact levels, including gender-sensitive and climate-resilience indicators to ensure inclusive and transformative impact.

· Contribute to the preparation and rollout mid-term, and endline assessments.

· Support regular field monitoring missions in the target regions to assess implementation of fidelity and gather qualitative feedback from beneficiaries

· Use digital tools (ODK/KOBO, COMET, SCOPE, PowerBI dashboards) to support visualization of real-time progress and inform adaptive management.

· Contribute to the preparation of analytical reports, in alignment with WFP corporate results frameworks and donor requirements.

· Support the documentation of best practices, case studies, innovations, and lessons learned across regions.

· Assist in knowledge-sharing activities with UN partners (FAO, IFAD, UNCDF, UNDP) and government institutions (MINADER, MINEPAT, MINSANTE, MINCOMMERCE).

Communication:

· Support the development and implementation of a Communication and Visibility Plan for the CONVERGEFOOD project, aligned with the country office communication plan.

· Assist in gathering content for high-quality communication materials, following donor visibility guidelines:

o human-interest stories

o success stories from cooperatives/SMEs

o infographics and fact sheets

o short videos and photos

o social media content

· Support media coverage, project launches, field missions, donor visits, and workshops.

Support related projects across WFP’s food systems portfolio as required.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED :

Education :

  • Completion of secondary school education. A post‑secondary certificate in Development Studies, Agriculture, M&E, Knowledge Management, Communication, Social Sciences, or relevant fields.

Experience:

  • At least 4 years of professional experience supporting communication, monitoring & evaluation or knowledge management

  • Experience in the field of food systems, agriculture, value chains, SMEs, climate resilience, or related sectors.

  • Experience collecting programme data, conducting basic qualitative and quantitative analysis, and preparing field reports.

  • Experience working with corporate systems (databases, software)

  • Experience in supporting the production of high-quality written and visual knowledge products and communication materials

· Strong writing, editing, and communication skills.

  • Experience working in a demanding operational environment

Desirable Knowledge & Skills:

· Experience working with humanitarian organizations, UN agencies, or international NGOs is highly desirable.

· Experience working with digital tools (KOBO/ODK, Excel/PowerBI).

· Photography and basic video skills are an advantage.

· Ability to transform complex technical content into accessible products.

• Strong facilitation, teamwork, and coordination skills.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

• Adaptability and creativity in dynamic environments.

Languages:

· Fluency (level C) in French and English language (written and oral)

· Knowledge of local languages in project regions is an asset.
