Job Summary
The Change Management Officer (AI Upskilling) plays a central role in strengthening Fund‑wide AI literacy and capability by designing, delivering, and scaling AI learning programs. As part of the Digital Adoption & Change Management Unit of the Information Technology Department (ITDAI DC), the role leads the development of tailored learning pathways, practical training experiences, and hands‑on enablement aligned with the Fund’s AI strategy and Digital Dexterity agenda. The contractual position serves as a connector across departmental training focal points, and the AI Division to ensure staff at all levels gain the skills, confidence, and mindset to use AI responsibly and effectively in daily work.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
1. AI Learning Programs and Curriculum Development
Translate organizational priorities into practical, Fund relevant learning paths covering AI Foundations, GenAI tools, AI agents, responsible AI, prompt engineering, and advanced practitioner skills.‑relevant learning paths covering AI Foundations, GenAI tools, AI agents, responsible AI, prompt engineering, and advanced practitioner skills.

Integrate AI Digital Dexterity principles, continuous learning, experimentation, and practical fluency, within all upskilling programs.
2. Program Delivery and Facilitation
Design and deliver high‑quality AI learning sessions, hands-on labs, role‑based workshops, and practical scenario exercises supporting responsible, safe, and effective AI use across departments.
Lead delivery of flagship programs such as:
AI Foundation Learning
AI Peer Learning Community enablement.
Applied AI training for teams adopting specific solutions (Copilot, Agentic workflows ..etc.)
Act as the primary facilitator for in-person and virtual AI training.
3. Partnership, Coordination & Stakeholder Engagement
Partner with internal AI groups on enterprise AI Learning & Talent Development initiatives.
Coordinate with the AI Division to ensure training content stays aligned with technical capabilities, governance, and emerging AI tools.
4. Content Design and Continuous Improvement
Develop practical learning assets, including playbooks, scenario sheets, prompt libraries, micro-learning modules, demos, and hands-on exercises.
Update content continuously to reflect the fast-evolving AI landscape and new Fund-approved tools.
Ensure all training materials integrate responsible AI practices, Fund safeguards, and data protection requirements.
Minimum Qualifications
Advanced university degree in Learning & Development, Education Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems or related field of study or equivalent, plus a minimum of 4 years of relevant professional experience; or a bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field of study plus a minimum of 10 years of relevant professional experience is required.
Additionally, the qualifications below are required for this role:
Certifications in AI, instructional design, or change management (e.g., Prosci ADKAR) preferred.
Technical & Functional Expertise
Strong understanding of AI concepts, GenAI capabilities, prompt engineering, and the implications of AI for workflows, governance, and change management.
Deep knowledge of the M365 ecosystem and its AI capabilities
Experience delivering technology learning programs, digital upskilling curricula, or AI training at scale.
Familiarity with AI learning platforms, instructional design principles, and hands‑on learning methodologies.
Communication & Facilitation
Exceptional communication, facilitation, and storytelling skills for senior‑level and technical audiences.
Experience leading workshops, events, and high-engagement learning activities.

This is a one-year contractual appointment. Contractual appointments at the IMF are renewable for up to four years of cumulative contractual service, pending incumbent's performance, budget availability, and continuous business need.
