| • Education -Master’s degree in Zoology, Wildlife Biology, Forestry, Environmental Science, Marine Sciences, or related disciplines from a recognized university with seven to eight years of professional experience in related fields. -Bachelor’s degree with at least two (02) additional years demonstrating strong relevant professional experience may be considered. • Training and Experience -With 7-8 years experience in relevant field; some managerial skills preferred -Practical experience in faunal surveys, wildlife monitoring techniques, and field-based data collection. -Familiarity with mangrove and wetland ecosystems is an advantage. -Experience working with government agencies, NGOs, and community groups. -Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and basic data management tools. -Proven skills in data collection and analysis using digital tools (KoBo/ODK), quantitative and qualitative methods, and basic GIS or spatial data for environmental monitoring; -Strong organizational, coordination, and reporting skills. -Ability to work effectively in both field and office environments. • Other Competencies -Ability to proactively learn (coachability), observe, and adapt in line with project objectives and evolving communication needs. -Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders. -Good time management, task prioritization, and multitasking skills, with attention to detail. -Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as collaboratively within teams, as and when required. -Demonstrated ability to function as a team player with strong work ethics and a cooperative mindset. -Sound decision-making and problem-solving skills, particularly in dynamic project environments. • Language Skills -Good presentation, writing and spoken communication skills in English and Bangla are essential. |
