IC – Final Project Evaluation
UNDP Nigeria seeks to engage an external evaluator to conduct Final Project Evaluation for Northeast Office.
Duty station: Home office with Field Visits to project sites (both experimental and control site)
Description of the Assignment: The project aims to enhance the policy environment for sustainable community-based reconciliation, reintegration, and transitional justice processes in Borno State. This includes improving the coordination mechanisms and defining pathways for effective reintegration and reconciliation.
Integrated and Gender-Sensitive Reintegration Systems: The project focuses on improving rehabilitation and reintegration systems that are gender and age-sensitive, specifically targeting formerly associated persons and their communities of reintegration. This system aims to provide comprehensive and coordinated reintegration services.
The primary objective of the final project evaluation is to assess and analyse the outcomes, identify challenges, extract lessons learned, highlight best practices, promote synergies and complementarities between PBF projects and other UN Projects, provide conclusions and recommendations that can enhance future collaborative programming, improve organizational learning, and ensure accountability. This evaluation will gather evaluative evidence on the relevance, effectiveness, efficiency, sustainability, and impact of the project, which can be utilized to strengthen and inform the design of future initiatives
Period of assignment/services: 34 days
