Task Description
UN Women seeks five experienced and creative Online Volunteers to support the Communications Team in the development of social media design materials and an interactive engagement component for International Women’s Day (IWD) on March 8th, 2026. Under the guidance of the Communications Team, the Online Volunteers will: - Discuss and define the campaign’s target audience, objectives, and intended outcomes. - Creatively design branded social media materials (3-5 visuals) using Canva for IWD (ex. static posts, story-format visuals, campaign banners), ensuring alignment with UN Women branding guidelines. - Each OV will develop a short, creative online quiz aligned with IWD messaging and campaign objectives, provided by UNWomen. UN Women will provide key messages, background materials, and branding guidance to inform the development of concepts and designs. Volunteers will coordinate closely with the team through email/virtual meetings as needed. No photos will be used for this assignment, all visuals will be designed. Volunteers will not be expected to post content on social media or manage the quiz, as all publishing and platform management will be handled directly by UN Women. All materials must be produced in English. All produced materials will be the intellectual property of UNWomen and may be used in future promotional materials.Competencies and values
