The Position:
As part of the UNFPA PSRO’s Communication and Visibility Plan, UNFPA documents various components of the Programme through multimedia products including videos, photo essays, and video galleries, designed documents, infographics etc. These products are used for publications, donor reports, websites, social media, advocacy, and digital campaigns. UNFPA Pacific produces a range of materials in a range of formats to support strong visibility and engage in creating a movement for change and transformation across the region around key mandate issues. Additionally, specific multimedia content including videos, photo galleries are created to support international days of activism as well as formatting and design of IEC material, photo stories, job aids and guidelines.
The Consultant will be under the direct supervision of the Communications Specialist in PSRO, Suva.

Job Purpose:
UNFPA Pacific is planning to contract a Multimedia and Graphic Design Consultant on an on-call basis, to help the office meet its growing need for quality communication and visibility products. The successful applicant will provide technical support in producing and designing UNFPA Pacific’s videos, galleries, photo essays, publications and contribute to the development and improvement of the design, branding and layout of materials produced by UNFPA Pacific. The applicant will also ensure that the UNFPA Pacific’s products and reports are following UNFPA’s communication and visibility guidelines and are reviewed and approved by the Communication Specialist at UNFPA PSRO. The applicant must provide the best possible functionally and usability both internally (country, regional and global level) and extremely with UNFPA Pacific’s partners while contributing to the overall branding processes.
