Responsible for leading and coordinating procurement activities at the Country Office level in compliance with organisational policies and donor requirements. The role oversees procurement planning, documentation management, vendor coordination, and contract compliance to ensure timely and cost-efficient delivery of goods and services. The Procurement Coordinator supervises logistics staff, supports capacity building of partners and programme teams, ensures accurate reporting and audit-ready filing systems, and promotes transparency and accountability across procurement processes while coordinating closely with internal departments and external stakeholders.

Lead and monitor ongoing and foreseen procurement to be in line with NRC’s SOP and Logistics Handbook.
Review Contract, Purchase Order, Payment and relevant verification to ensure it is compliant in terms of supporting documents.
Monitor NRC’s procurement archive to ensure all required supporting documents are properly recorded for audit purposes.
Development of Projects Procurement Plans and ensure PPPs are implemented efficiently.
Submission of monthly Logistics KPIs report based on latest update of Procurement, Fleet, Warehouse and Assets to Logistics Manager.
Coordinate with other divisions, e.g. Programme, to ensure required procurement is smoothly proceeded according to the project deadline while NRC’s logistics and financial rules and procedures and standards are followed and applied.
Support on and develop relevant logistics training including coaching of newly recruited senior Logistics staff, Partners and new joiners in all Area Offices (AO).
Supervise the preparation of documentation for bid committee meetings and provide technical advice to Area/Project Managers to ensure effective and efficient procurement.
Develop a usable vendor list in accordance with NRC requirements
