Job Description

Logistics Assistant Kerman Based
Responsible for supporting the effective implementation of logistics operations by managing fleet movements, asset tracking, warehouse activities, and inventory control. The role ensures accurate documentation, timely reporting, and compliance with organisational procedures to facilitate uninterrupted programme delivery. The Logistics Assistant also coordinates transportation, supervises casual labor where required, and supports office facility maintenance and equipment oversight.

Procurement Assistant Kerman Based
Responsible for supporting procurement processes in line with organisational standards by managing purchase requisitions, supplier communications, quotation analysis, and purchase order preparation. The role maintains accurate procurement documentation, supports bid processes, and ensures timely delivery of goods and services through close coordination with internal departments and vendors, while contributing to transparent and efficient procurement practices.

Logistics Technical Assistant

  1. Role and responsibilities

    Provide support to the organization’s activities in the form of logistics support processes, Asset, Fleet, Warehouse management in AO/CO, IRAN under the direction and guidance of the area manager (at CO level logistics manager)   

Overall responsibilities

 

  1. Understand, implement and / or maintain standard NRC warehouse, fleet and asset management policies and procedures.
  2. Perform all administrative/logistics tasks to ensure the smooth operation of NRC offices related to warehouse, fleet and asset management

  3. Prepare and develop status reports as required by management

  4. Perform any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor/line manager. 
  5. Ensure proper filing of all support documents
  6. Prepare and develop logistic reports as required by Country Office
  7. Promote and share ideas for improvement of the support function
  8. Perform other duties, as assigned by Line Manager

 

 

Specific responsibilities 

 

Fleet Management:

  • Responsible for vehicles and generators fleet management, including daily management of drivers.

  • Ensure Fleet Management is done in accordance with NRC standard practices.

  • Maintain vehicle logbook in compliance with NRC Logistics policy and audit/donor requirements.

  • Submit monthly Carpool Report to supervisor before the 10th the following month.

  • Participate in weekly and daily movement planning and follow up with program section to ensure movement schedules are received in a timely manner to ensure program continuation. Allocate vehicles when requested, coordinate with each department.
  • Follow up fuel supply for NRC Vehicles and make sure all vehicles end/start each month with full tank.

 

Asset Management: 

  • Assist in Asset / Inventory management to update the list, physical verification, update and archive forms

  • Keep updated assets and inventories of office and provide timely processing of updates and orders. Ensure NRC’s office assets keep in good working conditions and properly tagged, and NRC logistics records properly filed and maintained

  • Ensure the compilation of all relatives document of Assets management as per NRC policy (Loss and damage report, Asset transfer, Donation and Handover form)

 

Warehouse Management:

  • Support and document the receipt, handling, storage, release and reporting of goods through the NRC warehouse

  • Manage casual laborers in the warehouse.

  • Ensure the maintenance of warehouse buildings, fittings and equipment.

  • Maintain the Warehouse activity book recording all outgoing and incoming receipts and activities.

  • Monitor security of NRC’s storage and supplies.

  • On a monthly basis, submit KPI deliver report to procurement coordinator to reconcile the Monthly stock report

  • Update the stock record cards regularly.

  • Responsible for monthly petty cash of logistic team in AO/CO.

 

Procurement Technical Assistant

 

  1. Role and responsibilities

    Provide support to the organization’s activities in the form of Procurement processes in AO/CO, IRAN under the direction and guidance of the Procurement Coordinator   

Overall responsibilities

 

  • Adhere to NRC policies, tools, handbooks and guidelines
  • Assist with the implementation of the support function portfolio according to plan of action
  • Prepare and develop status reports as required by management

  • Ensure proper filing of documents

  • Promote and share ideas for improvement of the support function
  • Promote the rights of refugees and displaced in line with the advocacy strategy
  • Identify and report protection needs and gaps, explore and propose new and safer ways to assist.

 

Specific responsibilities 

 

  • Receive requisitions and source bids & quotations for the purchases of goods and services in accordance with NRC procurement regulations.

  • Participate in procurement planning and follow up with program section to ensure requisitions are received in a timely manner to ensure program continuation. 

  • Register and maintain proper files of requisitions, quotations and purchase orders and other relevant documents. 

  • Liaise with warehouse staff on information on the planned arrival of materials and equipment to the warehouse and obtain the necessary documentation to facilitate payments to vendors.

  • Ensure complete paper trail for filing according to projects. 

  • Assist supervisor/line manager on training and coaching staff on procurement procedures.

  • Liaise with suppliers to ensure prompt and accurate delivery of goods and services and received in good condition as per invoices, delivery notes and packing lists.

  • Assist supervisor/line manager to prepare documentation for bid committee meetings to ensure effective and efficient procurement.

  • Assist supervisor/line manager to complete and issue purchase orders & contracts in accordance with NRC regulations.

  • Prepare procurement status reports as required.

  • Perform any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor/line manager. 

 

 

Logistics and Procurement Technical Assistant

Context related skills, knowledge and experience (shall be adapted to the specific position): 

  • Basic Knowledge of the context in the areas NRC operates 

  • Good knowledge of computer and IT systems is an advantage

  • High quality knowledge to work with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word …)

  • Knowledge of supply chain management
  • Knowledge of inventory and assets management
  • Knowledge of warehouse and stock management
  • Knowledge of Fleet Management
