Context

UNDP, through BPPS Governance, Rule of Law and Peacebuilding Hub (GRP) and Climate Hub, in collaboration with youth organizations and thematic teams, is developing a Climate Justice Guide to strengthen youth-led legal and advocacy action at the intersection of climate change, human rights, and environmental governance. Following global consultations—including surveys, interviews, and expert inputs—this online workshop aims to validate the draft structure, content, and recommendations before finalization. As the guide is intended to be practical, youth-friendly, and legally sound, validation with key partners and youth actors is essential to ensure accuracy, relevance, and usability. The online validation workshop is scheduled for Tuesday, 24 February at 10 AM EST (3 PM UTC) on Zoom. It aims to: - Present the draft Youth Climate Justice Guide including structure, methodology, and main content sections. - Validate core concepts, tools, case studies, and legal pathways proposed in the guide. - Gather practical feedback from participants through a structured validation exercise with guiding questions. - Ensure global relevance by incorporating diverse youth perspectives, particularly from the Global South. - Strengthen coherence across UNDP thematic areas (climate, governance, law, youth engagement)
