The Operational HR Adviser is the HR and Security focal point of experts while they are on assignment.
The Operational HR Adviser works to support the thematic units in the department. The thematic team is collectively responsible for delivering on the project, as defined in the team mandate and the social contract.
This position is part of a pooled team organised and managed in the HR NORCAP section. The purpose of pooling is to improve efficiency, equity, access and flexibility and the role shares a collective responsibility to provide the services expected by the organisation. The pooled team members ensure that all units and teams in the department have predictable access to the same services and deliver them in an efficient way. Being part of a pooled team gives the team members flexibility to support each other and reallocate tasks based on their expertise and shifting workload/priorities. Ultimately, the Head of Unit decides how tasks and responsibilities are divided among the team’s members.
This position is for internal candidates only. For the purpose of this requisition, internal candidates are those who are either currently working in NRC, or have worked in NRC within the last 2 years.
This is a temporary position (6 month contract) based in Oslo, Norway, under a national employment contract.
