For every child, the right to a Champion

How can you make a difference?

The fundamental mission of UNICEF is to promote the rights of every child, everywhere, in everything the organization does — in programmes, in advocacy and in operations. The UNICEF Office of Innovation (OoI) works to catalyze UNICEF and partners’ expertise and resources to solve key challenges facing children and young people, with a view to sourcing, accelerating and scaling the most effective solutions to accelerate progress towards achieving the SDGs. To achieve this the Office of Innovation uses youth-centered and solution-led approaches and leverages support from a range of stakeholders including from intergovernmental, multilateral, private sector, young people and non-governmental fora (think tank, academia). The Youth & ADAP, Gender Equality and Innovation Solutions Portfolio is leading on cross-cutting issues to support and empower youth all over the world with innovative solutions to solve very specific problem statements for every child and young person to thrive, and benefit from skills, tools, policies, programmes, opportunities and access to innovation and technology in order for them to become the architects of tomorrow’s digital world and foster wellbeing by design.

  3. Coordinate and facilitate RITEC working groups and workstreams-including leadership convenings, model companies, academic design schools, and Communities of Practice-ensuring timely delivery and alignment with project standards and objectives.
