  • Complete secondary education, equivalent education, or relevant professional experience.
  • Minimum seven years’ experience in a field related to electronics/software engineering.
  • Knowledge of Quality Assurance (QA) standards and policies.
  • Ability to train and transfer knowledge to other staff or customers.
  • Experience in writing and preparation of SOWs, contract administration, and technical documentation.
  • Proficiency in technical and administrative writing and in the use of Technical Data (TD) and reports.
  • Ability to develop resourceful and effective solutions to problems, to focus team on performance goals and expectations, to track metrics and measure performance.
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Proven knowledge in and experience of Electro Optical and Infrared Sensors.
  • Proven records of UAS operational and maintenance activities.
  • Knowledge of Commercial Software Suites specifically for databases and spreadsheets.
  • Knowledge of preventive maintenance strategy and relevant operating principles, safety requirements, and technical specifications.
  • Ability to assess work requirements related to the various taskings and to record related information and details.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate and interact with maintenance team chiefs and team leader on developing maintenance objectives, monitoring the established priorities.
  • Knowledge in business management and personnel administration in a sizeable organisation.
  • High level of working knowledge and capability in preparing and assisting in the development of maintenance strategy and operational requirements.
  • Knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), SAP PM system.
  • NATO's official languages are English and French. The work of this post requires fluency in English, while working knowledge of French is desirable.

POST DETAILS
  • Basic monthly salary: EUR 5 376.14, tax free - before insurance and pension contributions.
  • This post is deployable. The incumbent of this post may be required to deploy or may be assigned to a remote location, to perform duties (inside or outside a theatre/deployment location) in support of Council approved operations/missions or in support of national or multinational operations/missions authorised by the Agency Supervisory Board of NSPO.
