About the Role
This internship offers the opportunity to support the DEI team in their daily activities. The intern will assist in preparing supervision monitoring materials, contributing to database development, gathering market intelligence, and ensuring proper record archiving. The role provides practical exposure to the operational environment of a development bank. Additional tasks may be assigned depending on departmental needs, offering broad learning experience across various functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist bankers in preparing supervision and monitoring reports, including helping clear outstanding information requirements.
- Collect market intelligence data for targeted companies and specific sectors.
- Contribute to the archiving and organization of records in line with internal procedures.
- Provide support for additional tasks as assigned, depending on departmental needs and priorities.
Applicants should:
- Preferably be students either in the last years of an undergraduate program leading to a bachelor’s degree or in a graduate program leading to a master’s or a doctoral degree, of a university or equivalent. These studies should be related to development finance /banking/finance or economics.
- Have an excellent command of the English language.
- Possess strong MS Office skills.
- Demonstrate teamwork and multitasking abilities.
- Have strong communication skills.
