Danish Refugee Council, one of the world’s leading humanitarian NGOs, is currently looking for a highly qualified Protection Officer – Monitoring for our operations in Hudet Filed Office.
Overall purpose of the role
Under the supervision of the emergency program manager, the Protection Officer will implement protection monitoring activities delivered by DRC at the Hudet IDP site. Specifically, he/she will conduct focus group discussions (FGDs), key informant interviews, and observations at the relevant sites to support the analysis of protection gaps and trends. He/she will provide information about available services, follow up referrals, and deliver individual protection assistance to persons with specific needs affected by the crisis. The officer will work hand in hand with the entire DRC protection team in the area. Additionally, the officer will prepare a monthly protection analysis report and submit it to the Co-Protection coordinator at the end of each month.
