IFC is seeking a Team Assistant, based in Rabat, Morocco, to provide proactive administrative and operational support to our Rabat-based team. This pivotal role contributes to IFC’s mission by ensuring seamless coordination, fostering collaboration, and enabling impactful delivery of development initiatives across the North-Africa region.

Role and Responsibilities 

• Provide high-quality administrative support to the team, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and coordinating travel arrangements to ensure efficient operations.
• Assist in the preparation, formatting, and proofreading of documents, reports, presentations, and correspondence to maintain accuracy and professionalism.
• Maintain and organize physical and electronic filing systems, ensuring easy access to critical documents and compliance with IFC record-keeping standards.
• Support the planning and execution of events, workshops, and conferences, including logistics coordination, participant communication, and material preparation.
• Process and track expense reports, invoices, and other financial transactions in compliance with IFC guidelines and procedures.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate data entry and updates in IFC systems, contributing to effective program monitoring and reporting.
• Proactively identify and implement process improvements to enhance team efficiency and align with IFC’s operational excellence goals.

Selection Criteria

Preference will be given to local talent, that is, applicants that are authorized to work in the duty station for any employer. Internal applicants may apply per existing guidelines.

• Bachelor’s degree with additional certifications or coursework in business administration, finance, or related fields preferred.
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in administrative support, office management, or coordination roles, ideally within international organizations or financial institutions.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and French; proficiency in Arabic is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in diverse teams, fostering an inclusive and respectful work environment.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in handling documentation, scheduling, and correspondence.
• Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
• Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to changing priorities or unforeseen challenges.
