The Bureau for Management Services (BMS) within UNDP is responsible for the development of corporate strategies, policies, tools, and systems across key cross-cutting management areas. Under the Bureau for Management Services (BMS), UNDP serves as an operational backbone for the UN system, delivering essential services including payroll, financial transactions, common premises, treasury investments, procurement, and legal services to various UN agencies. UNDP also provides comprehensive Information and Communication Technology (ICT) support to partner UN entities, facilitating over 40,000 United Nations and external users, alongside ICT and application solutions for global UN field operations.
The Information & Technology Management (ITM) Division, in alignment with the UNDP IT and Digital Strategies, drives the organization's digital transformation by developing and managing corporate technology platforms and services to UNDP and several un entities. ITM delivers ICT and Smart Facilities solutions globally to UNDP Country Offices and UN partners.
This assignment, positioned within CCPMS in Copenhagen, focuses on strengthening internal and external communication efforts and supporting the rollout of key global initiatives. The position has a strong emphasis on visual communications, branding, and design—to ensure consistent and engaging messaging across platforms.
Scope of Work
Within the delegated authority and under the supervision of the Communication & Change Specialist or his/her designated mandated representative(s), the Communications Design Coordinator (Content, Brand & Multimedia) will provide support to ITM communications in design, brand management and multimedia production. Responsibilities include:
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Coordinate effective planning and implementation of user-centric multimedia content & visual communications to drive awareness and adoption of corporate platforms/services.
2. Support brand design and management in adherence with UNDP’s branding guidelines and visibility goals
3. Manage and promote digital channels (intranet, web management, SharePoint/Teams sites, etc.)
4. Monitor and report progress in implementing communication activities and achieving the targets set.
5. Ensure Collaboration & Support
6. Facilitate knowledge management and dissemination.
The incumbent performs other duties within their functional profile as deemed necessary for the efficient functioning of the Office and the Organization

Required Skills and Experience
Education:
Advanced university degree (master’s degree or equivalent) in Graphic Design, Digital Design, Multimedia, Communications, or equivalent is required, or;
A first-level university degree (bachelor’s degree) in the areas stated above, in combination with an additional two years of qualifying experience will be given due consideration in lieu of the advanced university degree.
Experience:
Applicants with a Master’s degree (or equivalent) in a relevant field of study are not required to have professional work experience.
Applicants with a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) are required to have a minimum of two (2) years of relevant professional experience at the national and/or international level in internal/external graphic design, communication, marketing, or related roles, or other relevant programmes.

Required Language(s)
Fluency in English is required. Proficiency in another UN language is desirable
