Duties and Responsibilities
This TOR is for a consultant to support the implementation of the project by coordinating administrative processes and overall project management. Under the overall guidance and supervision of the Economic Affairs Officer, Innovation, Enterprise and Investment Section of the Trade, Investment and Innovation Division, the responsibilities are: • The consultant will be responsible for knowledge management by maintaining well organised project files, consolidating project documents and outputs, keeping an updated project event calendar, and collecting and organising evidence for project activities. • The consultant will support the coordination of administrative and logistical processes to ensure the efficient implementation of project activities. This includes supporting procurement and contract management processes by preparing documentation, maintaining records in line with UN rules and procedures. • The consultant will keep track of project activities and deliverables in line with the project delivery schedule. • The consultant will coordinate the project’s financial reporting, ensuring alignment with donor guidelines, updating the project risk register to identify and mitigate risks, updating the GEDSI plan and managing the carbon tracker to ensure accurate reporting. • The consultant will facilitate donor relations by engaging with Palladium and the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office, preparing quarterly progress reports, and developing materials for donor calls, updates, and monthly presentations. • The consultant will also support monitoring, evaluation and learning by tracking progress against project indicators, compiling evidence for reporting, and ensuring relevant data is collected through post event surveys or other appropriate methods and in alignment with the project MEL plan.
Qualifications/special skills
- Master´s Degree in Economics, International relations, Environmental Studies, Sustainable Development, Business, or a related field. Candidates - with a bachelor's degree will be considered with 2 additional years of work experience. - A minimum of three years of experience in project/programme management and coordination. - Experience working in the ASEAN region. - Experience in promoting private sector development. - Experience in donor coordination and reporting, including the preparation of progress reports and materials for development partners. - Experience in monitoring, evaluation, and learning, including tracking indicators and collecting evidence for reporting. - Experience supporting knowledge management, including maintaining organised project documentation, is desirable.
Languages
Excellent communication skills in English are required. Proficiency in English is required; competency in another ASEAN Member State language is desirable.
