Description of the Assignment:

The consultant will undertake the following responsibilities:

1. Conduct a situational analysis of youth development in Eswatini including mapping existing youth initiatives and identify gaps that can be complimented by the roll out of this program.

• Within the situational analysis ensure a focused analysis from a gender and inclusion perspective.

Develop a comprehensive programme including budget estimates, implementation timelines, Terms of Reference for the Eswatini Chapter Technical Committte; Monitoring and Evaluation plan, and sustainability mechanisms informed by stakeholder engagement.

• Ensure that gender and PWD priorities are integrated within the programme
• Align the Eswatini Youth Connekt programme components with Youth Connekt Africa pillars in alignment with the National Youth Policy; National Development Plan and other youth related development priorities for Eswatini. With a particular focus on:
• Employment & Entrepreneurship
• Innovation & Digital Skills
• Civic Engagement & Leadership
• SDG Acceleration

Facilitate validation and endorsement of the document with the key stakeholders

Period of assignment/services: 30 Working Days
