The position of Associate Financing Partnerships Officer is assigned to the Partner Funds Division (CCPF) within the Climate Change and Sustainable Development Department (CCSD). CCSD leads thematic operations, knowledge innovation, and partnerships.
You will report to the designated international staff and will be based at our Headquarters in Manila, Philippines.
Your RoleAs an Associate Financing Partnerships Officer, you will provide support in the reporting of sovereign cofinancing data, update, and maintain the accuracy of information in the Cofinance Management System (CoMS), coordinate with all trust fund managers, and assist CCPF management in analyzing aggregate cofinancing statistical data. The incumbent will also support the development and implementation of the Integrated External Funds Management System (IEFMS) and other IT system related tasksYou will:
- Maintain accurate and timely updates of sovereign cofinancing data in the Cofinancing database and CoMS. Coordinate with Information Technology Department, Sector Departments, and Strategy departments on data-related matters.
- Provide data inputs and updates to ADB Management, other departments, and CCSD Front Office on the sovereign cofinancing portfolio. Prepare and process cofinancing and trust fund data for corporate reports (e.g., Partnerships Report, ADB Annual Report, Development Effectiveness Report) and other materials requiring sovereign cofinancing information including ad hoc data requests.
- Lead the preparation of the Trust Funds section in the annual Partnerships Report and support the overall preparation of the Partnerships Report.
- Lead assigned process areas in the design and development of IEFMS, including document review and stakeholder coordination. Actively participate in IT innovation initiatives and promote relevant IT products in coordination with ITD.
- Support CCPF's One-Stop-Shop for Trust Fund Initiatives, assist senior officers and international staff with daily tasks, and contribute to strategic projects as assigned.
- Support resource mobilization initiatives through accurate and timely provision of cofinancing data. Review documents and provide guidance to other departments on sovereign cofinancing matters.
Qualifications
You will need:
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field; preferably with advanced training
- At least 5 years work experience
- Strong coordination and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Excellent analytical and data interpretation skills, including experience in data management and preparation of knowledge products
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; experience with data visualization tools is a plus.
- Written and verbal proficiency in English

Additional Information
This appointment is open to internal and external applicants.
This is a fixed-term appointment for an initial fixed period of 3 years. At the end of the initial period, this appointment may, at the option of ADB, be extended once for up to 2 years, converted to a regular appointment, or ended on its expiration date. This decision will be made in the overall interest of ADB that: (a) it will require Staff's particular blend of skills and experience in the foreseeable future; and (b) Staff's performance is satisfactory and they are suitable for further employment.
