The Position:
Under the overall supervision of International Program Coordinator and direct supervision of the Programme Coordinator Quetta, the Programme Management Analyst will ensure and support effective planning, implementation and monitoring of interventions under UNFPA assistance in the province of Balochistan. Programmatically, the incumbent will support the management and coordination of work plans and interventions in the province with focus on all programme areas under the 10th UNFPA Country Programme Document for Pakistan including sexual and reproductive health, gender and gender based violence, humanitarian action, population and data, and Adolescent and Youth. Through the management guidance of the Programme Coordinator and technical guidance of the Thematic Leads based in the Pakistan CO, the position is expected to facilitate the implementation of UNFPA supported programmes in the province including bridging the humanitarian and development approaches.

Job Purpose:
In a highly complex operating environment, the Programme Management Analyst will provide programmatic and coordination support to ensure effective implementation of UNFPA interventions in the Province. She/ He will facilitate the effective delivery of activities of UNFPA agreed workplans, the appropriate application of systems and procedures, and provide information on achievement of results.
