Under the general guidance of the Chief of Mission, the overall supervision of the ICT Officer and direct supervision of the Senior Database Developer/Programmer.

Education

• University degree in in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field from an accredited academic university or institute with 4 years of relevant professional experience, or;
• High school degree from an accredited academic institution with 6 years of relevant professional experience. 

Accredited Universities are those listed in the UNESCO World Higher Education Database.

• Experience in the development and implementation of population database systems, including those used for registrations, censuses, and surveys.

Languages

• Fluency in English, Kurdish and Arabic is required. 
• Working knowledge in any other languages is an advantage. 

IOM’s official languages are English, French and Spanish.

Proficiency of language(s) required will be specifically evaluated during the selection process, which may include written and/or oral assessments.
