Context

UNV’s Capacity Development Team empowers and supports volunteers in leveraging their UN assignments for personal and professional growth. The team organizes regular learning webinars for UN Volunteers worldwide, designed to strengthen knowledge, skills, and inclusivity. Providing sign language interpretation ensures that these opportunities are accessible to all UN Volunteers, in line with UNV’s commitment to diversity and inclusion.

Task Description

The selected Online Volunteers will provide sign language interpretation for English-language webinars, in particular one taking place on 27 October 2025, from 10:00 to 11:00 CET. Additional time will be required for preparation. The selected candidates may also be contacted for future sessions on request. Main tasks include: • Providing real-time sign language interpretation during the webinar • Ensuring clear and accurate interpretation of both prepared content and participant interactions • Collaborating with the facilitation team to align on terminology and context prior to the session
