Duties and Responsibilities
1. Support in recruitment and HR processes:
• Assist in preparing presentations and information sessions (recruitment process, flexible work arrangements, performance evaluation etc.)
• Help organize and update induction materials, including trainings and welcome kits
• Support colleagues in onboarding activities and induction follow-up
2.Internal communication and knowledge sharing
• Contribute to internal HR communication, keeping colleagues informed about HR updates and global HR initiatives
• Assist in developing and implementing an internal communication action plan
• Conduct research and follow up on HR best practices to share with the team
3. Administrative and operational support & Analytics
• Track ongoing tasks and daily requests from colleagues
• Monitor and follow up on HR requests/enquiries reported in UNall (the UNDP internal platform for tracking HR/administrative requests and incidents)
• Support HR analytics activities, including preparing reports and dashboards
Other:
Support other/ad hoc activities as seen relevant and needed.
Competencies
Required Skills and Experience
Education:
To be eligible for the UNDP internship programme, applicants must meet one of the following criteria at the time of application:
- Be enrolled in a postgraduate degree (such as a Master’s or higher);
- Be in the final year of a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent;
- Have recently graduated from a university (Bachelor’s, Master’s, or higher) and start the internship within one year of graduation;
- Be enrolled in a postgraduate professional traineeship programme where the internship is a requirement
