As a new multilateral development bank set up by the BRICS nations, the New Development Bank is focused on mobilising resources, both for infrastructure and sustainable development. The Bank is lending in its member countries, complementing the existing efforts of multilateral and regional financial institutions for global growth and development. WORKING AT THE NEW DEVELOPMENT BANK

The Bank offers competitive base salary and a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance for staff and eligible dependents, life insurance and accidental death & dismemberment insurance for staff, leave benefit, retirement benefit, and post retirement insurance benefit. Our professional staff positions, who are recruited globally, will also receive an additional allowance, at the rate from 10% to 20% of the base salary, along with the competitive base salary. A relocation allowance will also be available to professional staff joining and relocating from third countries to a country of operations. Our professional staff at the Headquarters, will also be eligible for an additional allowance for partial coverage of the cost of their children’s education at international schools in Shanghai. The Children Education Assistance Allowance will be covered at the rate of 75% of the cost of actual tuition fees based on the number of dependent children up to three, with the maximum limit of 25,155USD.
