Our Ideal Candidate:
This internship is designed to provide an opportunity for students or recent graduates to gain practical experience in Communication, especially audio-visual communication and graphic design, in a professional setting. The intern will work closely with the department to support audio-visual communication and graphic design.
The intern will need to be highly motivated and passionate about Communication, especially in audio-visual communication. They should be prepared to work collaboratively with a team and be able to meet deadlines.

Education:
Recently graduated with a degree in Film and Media Studies, Communication, Mass Communication and Journalism.
Skills and Experience:
Basic skills in photo, video, and audio production, including shooting and editing content for digital use, will be preferred.
Expected to have familiarity with design and editing tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar platforms.
Visual storytelling ability to translate humanitarian and field realities into engaging communication products.
Good understanding of social media platforms and content formats used for digital communication and advocacy.
Basic skills in content writing, captioning, transcription, and simple script development for multimedia outputs.
Ability to organize, archive, and manage digital assets, ensuring proper documentation and file management.
Communication skills in English and Bangla, with attention to detail in branding and content quality.
Prior experience or portfolio in communication/media/design is an advantage.
Knowledge of the context in Bangladesh, specifically within the Rohingya response, will be an advantage.
Fluency in English and Bangla (speaking, reading, writing) and familiarity with the Rohingya/Chittagonian local language will be an advantage.

Responsibilities of NRC:
1. NRC will provide the intern with a conducive working environment, effective supervision and guidance to ensure optimal learning; evident in regular supervisory meetings and a final performance evaluation
2. NRC will provide the intern with a clear ToR, stipulating specific learning objectives and exact outcomes
3. NRC will provide adequate induction to programs and the office
4. NRC will provide the intern with access to working space; necessary equipment; information and other work-related resources
5. Pay the prescribed stipend to interns in accordance with the guidelines
6. Issue a letter of completion of internship to interns upon successful completion of the programme.
Responsibilities of the intern:
1. The intern will be expected to adhere to all NRC regulations, policies and procedures
2. The intern will participate in the induction session
3. The intern will demonstrate motivated participation in the learning experience
4. The intern will carry out his/her roles and responsibilities as specified in the ToR and guided by supervisor
