Danish Refugee Council (DRC) is a leading protection agency with a mandate to protect, advocate and promote durable solutions for displacement affected populations.
DRC has been operating in Ukraine since 2014, currently DRC employs over 750 staff in Ukraine and implements emergency response in the Protection, Livelihoods, Shelter/NFIs and Humanitarian Disarmament and Peacebuilding (humanitarian mine action) sectors, using direct interventions, support to duty bearers and civil society organizations (CSOs), and partnerships with CSOs. DRC will continue and adapt its durable solutions portfolio to the evolving context.
DRC is currently looking for a Humanitarian Mine Action (HMA) Supervisor (Demining Supervisor) in Mykolaiv.
About the job
DRC has been operating in Ukraine for more than 11 years with emergency and durable solution interventions for assisting IDPs, returnees, host communities, and conflict-affected populations. With the outbreak of the conflict in February 2022, DRC has shifted its programming to emergency response to meet the urgent needs of conflict-affected population in the country. The Demining Supervisor shall be able to lead TS/MMC/Battle Area Clearance process in Mykolaiv and assist the area south Technical Field Manager and Technical Advisors in prioritizing and planning EO Clearance tasks.

About you
To be successful in this role we expect you to have at least 2 years of leading HMA Technical Survey, Manual Mine Clearance, Battle Area Clearance operations. Have at least 2 years’ experience using Mine detector Minelab F3, UPEX 740, SC 100 or Schonstedt. Moreover, we also expect the following:
