The OECD has earned a leading role in agriculture. The Trade and Agriculture Directorate (TAD) is the focal point for the OECD’s work on agriculture, both international and domestic, and it works to advance the Strategic Orientations of the Secretary-General, including on climate change mitigation and on open trade and markets, ensuring impact of the OECD Agriculture work in the international governance architecture, in co-ordination with the OECD Sherpa team.
TAD works covers a wide set of analysis of food and agriculture policy, agri-food trade and market and agricultural sustainability under the responsibility of two divisions, the Agriculture and Resource Policies (ARP) Division and the Agro-Food Trade and Markets (ATM) Division. TAD work involves a mixture of analytical and policy-oriented research conducted in a dynamic, multicultural environment by a team of highly-qualified and experienced staff.
TAD/ATM is looking for a Junior Data Analyst to contribute to its work on agricultural commodity markets and related analysis on agriculture and food policy issues. The Junior Data Analyst will prepare data for the OECD-FAO Agricultural Outlook, lead the Outlook projections for one commodity group and contribute to the ongoing development of the Outlook data process and the related agricultural market model (Aglink-Cosimo). Contributions to other data work of the TAD/ATM Division is going to be part of the regular work as well. The Junior Data Analyst will work under the oversight of the Head of Division in TAD/ATM.
