We are seeking an exceptional Country Director (CD) to lead our Türkiye Country Office at a pivotal moment—where humanitarian response, recovery, and long-term development intersect. As CARE’s legal representative in Türkiye, you will provide bold, strategic leadership to ensure our work delivers lasting, measurable impact for the communities we serve. This role is open to both national and international applicants. In line with CARE’s long-term localisation strategy, priority will be given to Turkish nationals. Role Summary Reporting to the Regional Director, the Country Director is responsible for the overall leadership, strategic direction, and operational excellence of CARE in Türkiye. You will guide a dynamic portfolio spanning humanitarian response, recovery, and development programming—ensuring it remains impactful, innovative, and aligned with national priorities and CARE’s global mission. You will represent CARE at the highest levels, build influential partnerships, mobilize resources, and ensure the safety, security, and wellbeing of staff, partners, and programme participants.
